Woke up this morning I planned a lovely day I was to, go down the town to spend some of my pay But I got caught up in housework and it started to rain so I cleaned the house and I didn’t spend a dime When I looked at the clock I found I’d Just run out of time Just run out of time I have just run out of time I said to my baby That I still love you she said, ‘don’t be a fool man it’s a quarter to three’ She said ‘ask me later about half past nine’ I said, ‘that be too late baby, I’ll have had far too much wine and by the time we try to do it we’ll have just run out of time’ Chorus When I was young, I dreamed of glory making my mark upon the human story so I practiced my art ‘till almost perfect but I didn’t go out and practice on the circuit then all of a sudden I started to pine I had wasted my talent and just run out of time Chorus

I hope it rains, I hope it rains every other day, from now until then I built you garden I built it with love I had to be near you Heavens above I talked to you constantly as I walked away from you I had to believe you could see my attempt to make something special for you I had to believe I had to believe that you could see I hope it rains, I hope it rains every other day from now until then I laid some stones It looked just like a bed There were flowers at your feet and more at your head I talked to you constantly as I walked away from you I had to return to tend your garden again I hope it rains every other day If rain doesn’t come the flowers will die and next to your body my heart will lie I hope it rains I hope it rains Pitter patter on your grave

Silvery moon 05:08
All the little creatures, living in the wood, everybody happy, trying to be good Badgers on the ginger beer and ratty’s on the weed Crow is flying higher than the shuttle ever did, the oakwood’s giving way to a blood red poppy field and the snakes took all the money to waste upon themselves. But that’s alright, everythings cool, the animals are dancing by the light of the silvery moon The bluebells are late this year the ground is in a mood and the stream has lost it’s sparkle cos the trout are out of food doe are fighting deer and the rabbits on the run the bats have left their roost and fled towards the sun owl has lost his memory and flown into a tree He’s lying with a headache saying ‘what will be will be' That’s alright, everythings cool, the animals are dancing by the light of the silvery moon

I went into this beer tavern Called the Dynyfor Arms It’s a place of many pleasures and a place of many charms It’s just down the road not far to travel from but the best thing about that tavern is they never send you home We were drinking all night Don’t wanna see the sun rise We were drinking all night I went to the bar tender said Simon do you have wine he said Frankie what ever you want, we have it in your size So I picked up my drink and sat down with my friends when the band started playing I didn’t want it to end Chorus I went into this ber tavern that’s where I want to be It’s nice and warm and cosy and full of memories It’s where I met my baby on a balmy summers eve It’s there she said she loved me and that we’d always be. Chorus

I’ve been standing in the rain under this sycamore tree Standing in the rain Under this sycamore tree I’m gonna ask my lonesome mother mama have pity on me I saw that mist was rising By that old tree line yes I saw that mist was rising by the old tree line at the bottom of that mountain that watches over me and mine Chorus We sat down at the station by that old railway line yes we sat down at the station by that old railway line when you told me you was leaving I wrg my hands and cried Chorus Well i know that time’s a healer but you aint ever coming back yest I know that times a hero but you aint ever coming back I know you said you’d send for me but I don’t like the railway track Chorus
